Pros

Equipment after 90 days and adequate PTO days

Cons

Demandzen presents itself as a great place to work, and at first glance, their online reviews reflect that. However, if you dig deeper, you’ll notice a pattern—most of these positive reviews come from employees who are either new or have been subtly (or not so subtly) encouraged to leave them. The reality inside the company is much different. The culture is built on the idea of “family,” but that sentiment quickly falls apart when you realize support is minimal, and success depends on whether you can keep your head above water in a sink-or-swim environment. Management operates from the same outdated playbook, offering little innovation or real leadership. Employees regularly express frustration and concerns behind closed doors, but no one dares to speak up openly for fear of retaliation. The CEO is largely absent from daily operations, and the leadership team seems out of touch with the realities on the ground. When production numbers dip, the reaction is predictable—pressure increases, and instead of providing meaningful solutions, management resorts to the same ineffective tactics that have failed before. Perhaps the most unsettling part is the way Demandzen handles terminations. I’ve witnessed hundreds of people let go in cruel, abrupt ways. If you leave a negative review, they will actively try to determine who wrote it, and if they find out, there’s fallout. Employees live with the underlying fear that their job security depends on staying silent and playing along. If you’re considering working here, be aware that the reality behind the polished reviews is far from the experience you might expect.

At DemandZEN, we understand that this job isn’t for everyone. The nature of our work is fast-paced, and we are upfront about expectations from day one. We ensure that all employees have the information and support they need to succeed. That said, we take all feedback seriously and view it as an opportunity to improve. This is why we regularly conduct anonymous Officevibe surveys to gauge employee sentiment and make meaningful changes where needed. Regarding the claim that employees are pressured to write Glassdoor reviews, we want to be clear: Leadership would never push anyone to leave a review—positive or negative. Glassdoor is an anonymous platform, and we respect that anonymity. We’re also unsure where the information about negative reviews being tracked comes from, as that would be impossible. Our leadership team is actively involved in operations, and our goal is always to provide support and solutions rather than resorting to ineffective tactics. While difficult decisions, including terminations, are sometimes necessary in any business, we handle them professionally and respectfully. We appreciate the feedback and remain committed to fostering a transparent and supportive work environment for those who thrive in a results-driven setting.

Pros

I've been working as a BDR at DemandZen, and I'm really impressed with the company culture. Even though it's a remote environment, everyone is incredibly supportive and collaborative. You never feel like you're on an island. The best part for me was the onboarding and training process. It was genuinely engaging and very thorough. I felt like I was set up for success from day one, with a clear understanding of the role and the expectations. It wasn't just a boring slideshow; we had practical, hands-on training that made a real difference.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have any major cons. The pace is fast and you're expected to perform, but that's the nature of any BDR role. The supportive team makes the high-pace environment manageable and even fun.

Pros

The culture is genuinely supportive — everyone from leadership to peers wants you to succeed. You get exposure to a variety of clients and industries, which keeps things interesting and helps you sharpen your sales approach. Clear expectations and consistent feedback make it easy to improve quickly. Work-life balance is better than most sales roles; the remote flexibility is a huge plus. Management actually listens and implements feedback — not something you find everywhere.

Cons

It can take some time to ramp up with new clients or products since every engagement is different. Because it’s an agency environment, priorities can shift quickly — you need to stay adaptable. Compensation is fair, but the commission structure can feel conservative if you’re used to traditional SaaS models.
