Pros

The culture, the people, the management team, the products and the customers. I've worked here for over ten years. I've seen dramatic change for the better in that time frame. Ten years ago Deltek had serious cultural issues and managed by fear. It has completely changed because of key leadership changes including the elevation of Mike Corkery and addition of Namita Dhallan. Together they created an organization which rewarded work/life balance and the ability to work as a team. No company is perfect. Every company has its issues and challenges. You can never completely eliminate all the problems a company has but you can create an environment were good stuff thrives and bad stuff doesn't. You are going to read negative comments about Deltek from some individuals. You should expect that with any company. But what I can tell you based on a very long time in the Software industry working for large and small companies this Company has worked hard and in my view been very successful in creating an environment which promotes individual growth, cares about its people and loves its customers... If you are lucky enough to become part of this organization and look at it objectively and do not have completely unbalanced expectations about professional work you are going to join Deltek and stay..... because its a great company.

Cons

We are growing fast. Its hard on the organization to acquire and integrate companies and not be disruptive. The management team is focused on growing and doing it in a way that benefits the company and its customers.

Pros

Good culture and supportive coworkers One thing that stands out is that employees repeatedly talk about the people being collaborative and easy to work with. For CSM teams especially, there are comments about low internal drama and strong teamwork.

Cons

Morale dips after layoffs: Common issue in enterprise SaaS. Remaining employees sometimes inherit extra accounts or responsibilities after reductions. Internal communication can get corporate/vague. Employees sometimes mention leadership messaging during reorganizations feels polished but not fully transparent. Career growth uncertainty during restructures: When leadership changes or teams merge, promotions and advancement
