Pros

My first 3–6 months at Deltek have been very positive. The candidate and onboarding experience was smooth and well-organized—everything I needed was ready from day one. Training was structured, and my peer mentor was approachable and patient, helping me get up to speed quickly. My team is collaborative and fun to work with, and my manager is very supportive and communicative. Compared to my previous employers, Deltek stands out for its people-first culture and clear processes. Employee engagement activities are regular and meaningful, making it easy to connect even in a hybrid setup. I also appreciate the wellness benefits and work-life balance the company promotes. If I could suggest anything, it would be to expand learning sessions for cross-functional teams—it helps us grow beyond our roles.

Cons

So far, I honestly don’t have any major cons to share. My experience has been smooth and positive overall, and I’m still enjoying the learning curve and supportive culture at Deltek.

Salary could be better. Training for some products is non existent and reliance on AI is very high.

Pros

Good culture and supportive coworkers One thing that stands out is that employees repeatedly talk about the people being collaborative and easy to work with. For CSM teams especially, there are comments about low internal drama and strong teamwork.

Cons

Morale dips after layoffs: Common issue in enterprise SaaS. Remaining employees sometimes inherit extra accounts or responsibilities after reductions. Internal communication can get corporate/vague. Employees sometimes mention leadership messaging during reorganizations feels polished but not fully transparent. Career growth uncertainty during restructures: When leadership changes or teams merge, promotions and advancement
