Pros

The work itself can be interesting and impactful in the right conditions. Colleagues are generally smart, capable, and well intentioned.

Cons

Burnout at DealMaker remains an ongoing concern and while employee feedback is sometimes collected, it does not appear to inform decisions. Acknowledgment is often minimal and changes based on that feedback are rare. Internal processes are more complex than necessary and change frequently, creating friction and making it difficult for teams to focus on meaningful work. The mandated 3 day RTO policy for those who were hired as fully remote has very negatively impacted morale and trust. In practice, many employees are commuting to offices where they do not regularly collaborate with those in person, often spending the day on virtual meetings. Leadership has framed the policy as comparatively flexible relative to other tech companies, though this is harder to swallow given fewer offsetting benefits, including lower PTO that can be difficult to use and higher thresholds to qualify for a 401k match. Overall, the prevailing message given increasingly feels like the environment is intentionally demanding and not designed to work for everyone, with the expectation that those who remain should simply accept those conditions. This is deflating and feels dismissive of legitimate concerns.

Pros

Exceptional people with growth mindsets. Visionary CEO and leadership. Challenging Environment Opportunities to learn and grow. My direct manager is super supportive and leads with empathy. You will never be bored here.

Cons

This environment is amazing but it's not for everyone. We are a very ambitious company and we have large goals. We are a fast growth company and that comes with all the fun and challenges of growth. If you are looking for just a job this place isn't for you. Week one and two (and three) can feel like drinking from a firehose. But if you lean in I promise you will adjust.

Pros

Most of the team bonds over shared stress.

Cons

Working at Deal Maker felt less like building success and more like being chewed up by a machine that only cares about numbers. The culture is high‑pressure, the support is minimal, and the turnover is constant. Employees are treated like disposable sales tools, not people. If you’re looking for balance, respect, or stability, you won’t find it here.
