Pros

- Comaraderie among the team, but only because everyone bonds over their mutual hate of working there

Cons

- Nepotism-unqualified people take sr manager roles simply because they’re related to Charlie. In turn, they hire other unqualified leaders ie managers w/unrelated backgrounds or w/numerous HR violations. - lack of communication, accountability, and transparency are masked as “start up environment” - Daily COVID infections announced by HR - Merit increases and promotions were withheld during COVID even though Charlie increased his net worth by $4B from March to July according to Forbes data - Promotions are withheld if employees refuse to work in the office because they’re high risk for COVID “we won’t promote you if don’t come back to work in the office” - They state that “opportunity is their biggest benefit” but leadership is verbally abusive and demoralizing when employees express interests in other paths - “what makes you think you’re qualified to do that?” “We won’t incentivize internal movement just because people are unhappy on this team” - Recognition and advancement opportunities aren’t based on performance, they’re based on who clicks w/the managers. Heavy boys club environment. - High turnover - 15 people have quit on this team in less than 1 year - Outdated employment practices - hiring process requires references and college transcripts regardless of experience. The best candidates aren’t getting hired - the candidates who make it through that outdated process do. Gosh forbid you got a C in college 20 years ago. High lack of empathy for candidates and hiring needs. - Company culture is cult like - used against employees and candidates whenever it fits their narrative best - Salaries and benefits are below market standards

Pros

Work from home is the only pro I can think of

Cons

They don’t provide any equipment aside from the computer itself. They mislead you during the interview and job description. You are paid according to price of product sold and close rate however it’s all inbound calls and you can not call back. The inbound calls are lousy, people who don’t even have a $1 on a card in order to do the eligibility check, or no card at all.. poor credit which leads to higher out of pocket costs. I think only a handful of times I couldn’t overcome the spousal objection or the just shopping objection. Those I will take responsibility for but if I’m getting calls from people who don’t have a card or don’t have a $ or don’t have the money to put down OR already have an account or is a mis-transfer or were passed along because the technicians have to make referrals even though the customer isn’t actually interested in the product yet the tech makes them still call.. that’s crap and it’s not real sales.
