Pros
People. As many have stated prior, there are some very talented, dedicated, and generally good people. There is an opportunity to gain experience and responsibility beyond your pay grade.
Cons
Micromanagement - every level below VP Manage to spreadsheets and conflicting reports - too reactionary, not enough technology to help the field. Too much busy work - field offices should concentrate on delivering the proper customer experience and technician development. Current audit process is counter productive. Too many "know it alls" - leadership is weak on mentoring, leading, and team building. Heavy on ego and justifying their jobs. Work/Life Balance - you'll hear it mentioned as being important but don't attempt to practice it. You may be perceived as not having pride in your work or being committed. Benefits and pay. Although, if the environment was better I'm sure most wouldn't bat an eye at the compensation package. Too many threats of losing employment; not enough action to build a winning team.
