Pros
Salaries can be competitive. A lot of technology to learn.
Cons
Dish (who own SlingTV) leadership team are led by a group of good-ol-boys who have yet to make it past their glory days of launching the satellite service. While pay can be competitive their benefits are horrible. They make sure to train all their leaders how to "Own the message" which is to say, explain away that they don't tolerate Work From Home, benefits are bad and if you have the misfortune of work in their Denver offices, they still manage people by reviewing badge reports to see you checked in and out and took appropriate time for your lunches - yes, even senior professional level employees. In-spite of all this some good people do stick around because they are passionate and see opportunity in the technology. After years of service these same good people get RIF'd with ZERO severance and ZERO help for job placement.
