This place is one of the most unsafe working environments I've ever seen. We work with dangerous chemicals and people writing protocols have no education, haven't read the product labels or SDS for chemical interactions, the safety group isn't consulted on any of these decisions, and protocols and procedures have technicians mixing incompatible chemicals on a daily basis. There is a safety incident every day. Someone was dismembered at the facility in Albuquerque, he lost 2 fingers, and management proceeded with life as normal. Every day that I go to work, I never know if I'm going to be leaving early in an ambulance or at the end of my shift in one piece. If someone gets hurt they are blamed, even if they did everything correctly. Management just wants production to move forward, and couldn't careless if you go home dead or alive. On top of that, people that are part of the management team are allowed to engage in favoritism and sexual harassment, despite multiple harassment complaints to HR nothing is done and the behavior is allowed to continue, even though the company policy states that behavior is zero-tolerance and everyone recently receiving annual harassment training. The longer people work there the worse they get treated, there is 1 trained employee to about 15 new people. The new people are allowed to run amok and do next to nothing, while trained people are expected to do 10 times more work for less pay than the dead weight. The turn over is higher than McDonald's and Walmart combined. The whole operation relies on 5-10 experienced people on every shift to keep things running.
