Pros

Pension and bonus potential. Nothing of note that stands out when compared to other companies.

Cons

Company is run through HR. HR does not report through the businesses, but separately up through corporate. Nothing is more important than HR and they can not be questioned. During investigations, people are considered guilty until proven innocent and this is us.ed as a weapon occasionally. There is a huge gap between the corporate world and the plants (where the $ is made). Corporate/company leadership does not respect the plants and seems more interested in HR policy than success. Unfortunately, Cummins has the corner of the market on employment in the area and can do what every it wants. Continual management/exempt turnover at the plants makes continuous improvement difficult and the same mistakes are repeated over and over. Hourly employee work hours can be excessive/abusive. Some go months without a day off. Good if a person like OT and no life. Sr. Leadership can create emergencies, then get credit for getting out it even though they created it.

Pros

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
