Pros

It is income. Decent people to work with.

Cons

Company controls cost through layoffs rather than elimination of waste or efficiency gains. A severe lack of standardization from plant to plant, business to business. The layoff cycle really hurts continuous improvement and moral. Management has to do 2 - 3 jobs. When this happens, only the biggest fires are attended to and the attention to their employees suffers. Upper management very slowly, if at all, back fills holes. Health insurance is poor for a company of this size.

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
