Pros

Cummins is open to cross functional development and allows a person to move between functions to expand their skill set. The company likes to recruit new college hires and mold them into their work culture

Cons

Currently, the company is directionless, with very low employee motivation specially after lay offs and restructuring. The company leadership is more focused on social issues and is run by consensus.

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
