Pros

- people are nice at first. You won’t meet anyone that’s a visionary or a leader, just nice. - Very cliquish. If your family tree has 1970s accounting profession Midwestern roots, you’ll be in the inner circle by lunch. - Great training ground if you’re prepping for Survivor, only with more being yelled at over not realizing the value of the firm’s “intellectual property” (I.e., sharepoint 2013 systems) and fewer torches. - nepotism - You’ll learn the company’s unique definition of “diversity”: someone not related to a partner.

Cons

- Unlimited PTO is Crowe speak for “don’t expect a payout when you leave.” - Benefits on the same trajectory as Blockbuster. - The layoff counter is broken from overuse. - Career progression feels like running a marathon with ankle weights — unless you’ve already got the nepotism hookup - Leadership diversity is more of a concept piece than a reality. Think abstract art: interesting to look at, hard to find in practice. - The culture rewards being part of the “high growth Cleveland office in-crowd.” If you aren’t, prepare to be scenery.
