Pros
The team I worked with was incredible and the only reason I hung on as long as I did. The company also has the typical perks of 401k, health benefits, etc.
Cons
Completely against remote work. Compensation is way below industry averages. We get asked to waste our time with employee surveys every month and every month we told them those 2 things, but it was ignored. Not doing anything to retain the current staff, and not doing anything to attract enough new hires, so existing staff is forced to double and triple their work load. Couple that with a below average salary and dinky raises and you get mass exodus. People in charge of coders and testers get to decide what the people in “product management” work on so customers leave to the competition - wouldn’t you? Why have client success or account management or product management if systems gets to call the shots? We got told the story of how we had amazing years, lots of profit, financially doing amazing etc. Top brass gets their bonuses but the employees that made it all happen get 2.5% if they’re lucky. Shame. All this and they wonder why we’re all lead footing to other companies.
