Pros

- The tech stack is very modern in my opinion, lots of in demand tooling and frameworks for the data world. - The people are beyond great. They are the type of people who you would love to spend time with outside of work hours. - The ability to learn and make mistakes can be grown here. - Most managers are very flexible with life events. - Work, for the most part, is confined to working hours.

Cons

- No WFH policy. - Outdated style of managing a tech work force. This includes, "Having to be in the office from 9 - 6". - Abysmal Pay for Software Engineers in Irvine. Seriously, beyond terrible. - Lots of Red Tape to cross, access requests to a resource may take even days. - Certain teams are dominated with contractors almost 3 to 1. - Outrageously high turn over with no high quality replacements. - No Identity as a career.

Pros

The interview process was well-structured and I was able to have a good sense of the team culture. I spoke with people across research, product, engineering, and design leadership, and each conversation felt intentional rather than repetitive. Another thing that stood out was the onboarding experience, even after accepting the offer. Every step felt smooth - they were responsive, proactive, and thorough in a way that seems pretty rare nowadays. Anytime something came up that needed attention, they were already on it - I really appreciated that

Cons

The interview process has multiple stages and felt longer than other ones. Other than that, none I can think of currently

Pros

Camp L.I.F.T. is an incredible example of how Cotality brings its values to life through community impact and innovation. The program creates a meaningful opportunity to give back by inspiring young students to explore STEM, financial literacy, and leadership, while also fostering strong collaboration across teams and partners such as Foot Locker, Octane, ISACA, Google, and Cognizant. It’s truly energizing to be part of something that not only makes a difference for students, but also builds a strong sense of purpose and pride among employees.

Cons

There are very few downsides to the experience—if anything, the week goes by too quickly and it’s hard to choose which activities or sessions to be part of because there are so many great moments happening at once.
