Pros
1. Very fast paced environment. Products and projects can be kicked off very quickly. People who don't mind change, thrive better at Fleetcor. 2. Company is in a market space which is mostly recession proof (trucking, business payments, etc). Which means there are almost no cyclical patterns of hiring and firing of employees. 3. Employees who do well are rewarded well. If you are in sales, most of the monetary reward will come through commissions. If you are in other departments (customer service, product, credit) you get promoted when you take additional responsibility...and get substantial pay increases when you get promoted. 4. Professional work environment, people are respectful, work place is fun.
Cons
1. Even though the company is technically a 'big company', it still operates like a small company in a lot of ways. Internal processes are clunky...yet speed is expected; new ideas are appreciated....yet getting resources for those projects is hard; the performance review and merit increase processes are not transparent. 2. Depending on your role, you may have to learn many company-specific systems before you can become productive....salesforce.com, multiple customer service platforms, multiple credit systems. Training for these systems are hard to understand.
