      Innovative company, good flexibility and good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Poor career development and progression, management is handicapped when it comes to taking actions against bad managers who are part of their friends-and-buddies system, creating a toxic and dysfunctional workspace. No balance and fairness in promotion. Favoritism is the bane of Corning's workspace.

      Pros

      Great benefits: Day one health insurance, profit sharing, 401K and pension plan.

      Cons

      This location is a startup venture and has lots of details to work out to become more efficient and reliable. Advancement opportunities are very slow. Construction and infrastructure improvements are still in progress. There are a lot of PPE requirements due to the complexity and hazards on the job. The 12.25 work hours with shifting two weeks on day and two weeks on nights is very hard on the mind and body.
