Employees are smart and capable; neat experience to work with colleagues around the globe. There are individual folks and teams that are gems and I look forward to keeping in touch with. The fact that they have a pension benefit is impressive.
Cons
My experience with Corning ended on a low note. The business division I worked for did not make me feel fully heard or appreciated. Usually felt like I was being left out of information/communication loops that would have been helpful to do my job even better.

Great pay and benefits, as a finisher work was boring and repetitive, but once I bid into forming work was very fulfilling, engaging, and challenging.
Cons
Most managers were great, but a couple weren’t. As with all union jobs, the lazy slackers aren’t held accountable and you have to pick up their slack.
