They want you to grow and advance your career and attempt corning if you have the ability and want to advance they are fully involve and will give you some advice and help. There's always overtime slots open so if you need extra cash or just like to work you can and it's not mandatory. Finally they pay goid.
Cons
Everywhere you have worked has cons, and corning isn't any different and the number 1 con is probably the swing shift. Most people don't have any issues with it but everyone gets aggravated sometimes. It's a Dupont schedule so there are for shifts total and for example your schedule would be 4 nights then 3 days off, 3 days then 1 day off, 3 nights then 3 days off. and finishes with 4 days then 7 off we work from 6:45 to 6:45. Some people can't handle it and they find another job.
