Pros

Consistent Income and Supervisors with less experience than employees.

Cons

I am the only African American that was working for the company. Before they hired me they said that they had just fired an African American because she did not like how they were communitcating with her. Basically is you are a Minority and not Homosexual you shouldnt bother working here unless you are an Uncle Tom or would like to deal with racism everyday. Yes I reported the racism and yes I got fired for it lol. Good Luck

We regret that your experience here left you frustrated enough to leave a post like this; however, we need to correct some of your statements. We have many African American team members across the company, and there was no prior dismissal of an African American member from the referenced team. Our leadership team includes individuals from diverse racial and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds, with several having previously led their own D/WBE business. Dedication to diversity and inclusion is a cornerstone of our organizational values, and we take pride in fostering a workplace that celebrates and respects the contributions of individuals from all backgrounds. While it is possible for a team member to have more years of experience than their supervisor (age is not a determining factor), supervisors at Consor are skilled in their disciplines, are carefully selected based on demonstrated competencies over time, and undergo ongoing training so they can best support our teams. This commitment to professional development is deeply ingrained in our culture. We take all reports of racism and harassment seriously and go through due process to investigate every claim. When we received your initial report, we conducted a thorough investigation. We interviewed other team members, talked with stakeholders, reviewed all written and recorded evidence supplied by you, and met with leadership to have them explain their hiring, onboarding, and training practices. We found some improvements were needed in staff technical training specific to your area, which we quickly worked to improve, but there was no evidence of racism or harassment. After the investigation concluded, we worked to create better training protocols, worked with you to build an individualized plan to help you be successful, and worked to identify the tools you felt would best assist you on your learning journey. Lastly, no employee at Consor has ever been terminated for filing a report of racism or harassment, nor will any employee ever be. We believe in fostering an environment where every voice is heard, and we welcome any feedback that helps us improve and grow. Involuntary separations are a last resort after exploring other measures to help the team member perform at level, find their footing, and thrive. To be clear, involuntary separations from Consor are not taken lightly and occur only for performance concerns that cannot be resolved or for legitimate business reasons. While it is unfortunate that we could not find a way to work together, we genuinely wish you the best moving forward.
