Pros
Honestly, the office location was decent and the commute wasn't terrible. People seemed OK during the application and interviewing process, and it convinced me to leave my last job.
Cons
My team made it clear from the start that they did not want me there. After a few meet and greets for "onboarding", there was zero training, leaving me to flounder and figure things out on my own. My team was rude and exclusionary and refused to show me anything. I felt completely isolated. Instead of support I got snide comments and exclusion from meetings and even informal chat channels. I was set up to fail at every turn - information was withheld and tasks were reassigned away from me or set with impossible deadlines. It was a constant battle just to get through the day, and it was clear that the team was conspiring to get me fired or force me to quit. There were even rude comments about my religion. The management did nothing to address these issues. It was a living nightmare, and I would not wish this experience on anyone.
