All of the weirdness shared by other reviewers is absolutely true and accurate. If anything, they understate the awful working environment. It feels like a strange combination of prison camp and kindergarten. If you're thick-skinned and just want to keep your head down and work hard and do whatever your told, you can survive okay. But if you seek affirmation and approval for your work from your manager, and/or want your input and ideas considered, this would not be a good place for you. I've literally seen people (women and men) reduced to tears.
The pay and benefits are average.
Owners keep the place dimly lit (maybe to save money on electricity?). They don't like people using cellphones and frown on employees chatting with others in the office.
One of the owners appears to suffer from numerous antisocial neuroses.
Underlying their flagship product is a seemingly endless stream of MS SQL Server stored procedures. I think at some point the product was redesigned by an employee whose strengths were as a DBA, so he did things with stored procs that really should have been done in the .Net code.
