Pros

Little to none, no compassion. Just a paycheck at the end of the day.

Cons

The company talks about being friendly with their employees and says they listen to what their employees ideas are... what they fail to mention is that if your location is not performing (for whatever reason) you're forced to come up with a solution (as if you're an analyst or... not just a part timer) or be written up. So if you're a master in economy and can fix the situation, this may be the job for you. District is no help... it's kind of funny how they ALWAYS has something to say if things aren't spectacular. You could be outlining how you are doing everything you can... however the benefit of the doubt does not exist with this guy, At this job you are a property manager, uhaul customer service rep, salesman, marketer, collection agent, call center agent... all for basically minimum wage. Would give negative stars if I could.

Compass Self Storage provides comprehensive training, especially for sales associates, which is helpful for those new to the industry Bonus Potential Some roles offer uncapped monthly bonuses, which can be a strong incentive for performance. Benefits PTO, paid holidays, lunch breaks, and health benefits including dental and vision.

Pros

Pros are getting less and less every day.

Cons

I get it business is slow and the powers that be seen to think that's the fault of the workers in the stores, a lot of changes this year from the powers that be all geared to blame the little guys for the slow traffic, polices that continue to clamp down on us for the companies failures, high rate increases forcing customs out. Oh you failed to show the customer that the rate increases are a good thing, a reservation didn't come in that's your fault you didn't call them enuff or beg them to come in now we are taking away you bonus because they didn't come in to rent, your delinquency is too high you failed to get them in to pay you must not be doing your calls, it's always on us, the powers that be never accept that maybe they are the ones to blame. Mystery shop after Mystery shop, surprise visits and monthly audits, threats of write ups if you don't do everything perfectly, taking away the Christmas party that everyone looks forward too because again we failed the powers that be, that's not the way to build employee loyalty, and now the powers that be will be listening to every phone call interaction we have with customers and judging them, this company has gone from looking forward to going into work to oh no I have to go to work today, the way things are right now I wouldn't recommend this company to someone I didn't like key alone someone I liked.
