Review - Registered Nurse Communitas (MA) Employee Review

-Puts Human Rights first. -Even Senior Management know the people we serve on a personal level and show face regularly. -All divisions communicate with each other to ensure they are providing the best services possible. -It is clear that the organization puts its participants' first.

Like many Human Services agencies, the pay is low. It is very challenging to have good staff when the starting pay is only $18. Many of us have 2-3 jobs just to afford our bills. This leads us to be incredibly tired while at work so we are not as energetic as we could be and we feel burnt out. Though management go above and beyond to make us feel appreciated in other ways, at the end of the day, money does matter to a point. This is not Communitas' fault but more the whole structure of non-profit human services agencies. I wish things were different.

The best think about working at Communitas is the daily interactions with the individuals you provide service to. A rewarding job but pay is low.

The pay is low, people usually have to take on extra hours or a second job to make ends meet.
