Pros

-Paid Holidays -Bi-Weekly Pay -Rooftop to enjoy lunches, cafeteria lunch options

Cons

-condoning & negative attitude towards remittance processors, data entry clerks and scanning dept. by management -exclusive and isolating employee atmosphere -poor to zero execution & education of “EDGE” concepts -pay isn’t competitive -poor communication and when there was it was very disorganized & inconsistent -time off in this department is based on what your fellow coworkers in that inner unit have requested off (typically no more than 1-2 employees could be off the same requested day) -promotion string a longs (ex: inquiring why YOU haven’t applied for an inner dept promo, so you apply and interview and they offer the position to someone who is a step below you) -Overall didn’t appreciate or treat employees correctly (ex: lots of talking behind backs and inappropriate comments made by supervisor and dept manager) -schedule changed weekly and wasn’t told until my first day of work Ex: Week 1 6:30-3, Week 2 7-3:30, Week 3&4 7:30-4 (this week never guaranteed to leave on time) We’d have a rotation set up in advance but it was always subject to change which made it difficult for planning any sort of medical or after work appointments

Pros

None - the pay was well below what I was used to making.

Cons

You can include that if it’s true, but it’s safest to present it as your personal experience rather than implying a medical conclusion or making broader claims about the company. Here’s a revised version: Commerce Bank was the worst place I’ve ever worked. I came into the role with years of experience, confidence, and a strong work ethic, but I left questioning my abilities in a way I never had before. The management style I experienced was disparaging, overly critical, and unsupportive. Rather than feeling coached or developed, I felt constantly torn down. The work environment became so toxic for me that I ultimately sought therapy to cope with the anxiety I experienced surrounding work. My anxiety became severe enough that my healthcare provider increased my medication. No job should have that kind of impact on someone’s mental well-being. I recognize that others may have different experiences, but mine was one of the most damaging professional experiences of my career. I would encourage prospective employees to carefully evaluate the leadership and management culture before accepting a position, as it can make all the difference. This version clearly states your personal experience (“for me,” “I experienced”) without asserting that the company universally causes those outcomes. That makes the review both compelling and more defensible.
