Pros

Nice office, all you can eat snacks, lunch on mondays. Benefits were good and compensation was adequate. Customers love what the product could offer.

Cons

Management is exclusively focused on company growth rather than stability or quality. Management is never involved in product development or day to day operations. They are only chasing new contracts. One gets the impression that they just want to grow and dump at the first opportunity. The product itself is a mess, rickety and unmaintainable. The owners are unwilling to acknowledge flaws in the design or implementation. Privacy concerns are suppressed or dismissed outright.

Hopefully we've learned a lot in two and a half years. I'm certain there were a lot of growing pains, and there still are, but we're always learning and trying to get better. We'll continually ask for input from our employees on how we can improve.

Pros

- Fun & welcoming culture, even through everyone being remote during the pandemic. I thought it'd be much harder to stay in touch and feel connected, but it really hasn't been and I think that's made a world of difference for me. - Truly meaningful mission: what you do here, regardless of your role, makes a dent in peoples' lives and healthcare opportunities across the country. The product does what it says it does and our customers are really happy. - You're surrounded by smart people without a complicated ego to overcome. It's a culture of getting things done that pushes every team member to bring their best game, every time. People here are professional and focus on the heart of the problem, without dwelling on non-productive office politics. -The company and especially its leadership are hungry for change in the right direction. They're embracing and seeking out fresh ideas about where to bring the company for short and long-term success, and they genuinely listen to others' ideas about what this should look like. Everyone has skin in the game here, in a positive way. - Leadership is focused on crafting and always refreshing new career paths for employees. They're really invested in getting and keeping the best talent they can. There's no shortage of new opportunities and exciting projects at Collective.

Cons

Not a true con, just a hope I have - I would love to see Collective's strategy for remote work become more mature. Granted, we're a really young and small company, and we're learning things and changing things up all the time - so this might be coming soon or on the roadmap for some point in the future.
