Pros

Great pay. Many good people. Find a manager you can trust to watch your back.

Cons

Politics far greater than one would expect for a company its size. Sr management spends way to much time managing each other and not enough time on the needs of the teams that deliver to customers. Lotus Notes. Needing 50+ passwords at least one of which you change everyday. Infrastructure is a pain. You spend 1-2 hrs daily fighting the infrastructure vs. doing valuable work.

Pros

It was a positive environment/culture. Very smart people with great ideas that were heard. People were committed to provide tools for sales & services to make and keep the customer happy. The training and services team always helped each other- sharing knowledge, best practices, tips & tricks at any hour of the day. Ron Zambonini was the most passionate and engaging CEO.

Cons

A bubble burst when Ron stepped down as CEO in '04. I think the prod dev had a big miss with the web dev of analysis studio, very weak against PowerPlay. Was a boys club and not everyone was allowed in.
