      Safety-Kleen was a good place to work with lots of opportunity, but unfortunately the Clean Harbors acquisition has ruined the company.

      Safety-Kleen was a good place to work with lots of opportunity, but unfortunately the Clean Harbors acquisition has ruined the company. Layoffs continue for both sides of the company. Unfortunately, nothing will change until the Clean Harbors CEO has been replaced with someone more positive.

      Pros

      Plenty of hours between 75 to 80 hours a week minimum. Good place to get experience as a stepping stone.

      Cons

      You're always on call it is mandatory that you work three weekends a month both Saturday and Sunday including the 5-day work weeks Monday through Friday Technician. As a coordinator you work 6 day work weeks Sunday through Friday you only get Saturdays off it's a salary based position so you get no compensation if you work over 8 hours a day as a coordinator and you will work more than 8 hours a day your minimum will be 12 to 14 hours a day up to a maximum of 18 hours a day regularly.
