Pros
When I started, the compensation for a remote employee was the same as a NY employee, so it was much higher than any CX positions available in my state. The benefits were all-inclusive and inexpensive to the employee.
Cons
The company promotes itself as having excellent customer service, but about half of your time as a CEA is actually spent on cancellation chat, attempting to retain/upsell customers that want to leave. Additionally, the company laid off its remote team (which consisted mostly of experienced reps with seniority) in order to replace them with cheaper, inexperienced, and less knowledgeable labor from the Philippines.
