- Friendly students - Fairly friendly staff - Some training provided for teachers who need it (mostly how to use sheets, and accessing lesson materials)
Cons
- 2 hour cancellation policy means that teacher don't get paid when students cancel 2 hours prior, there is a high cancellation rate as many students often cancel due to having too much work - No Benefits, benefits were stated as given, and not received. - You do not receive a different rate for group classes and individual classes - Have not received an increase despite change of contract (from probationary to permanent) - little vacation time (5-7 days) - low pay - HR does not do as promised - Meetings are 'mandatory' and often on short notice. You do not get paid to attend meetings - Salary bond of 30 USD required, meaning they take 30 USD from the first money you earn, - you get paid only for every class you have - in the beginning there was an excuse that i could not get paid because it is 200 usd minimum, which was not stated in the contract
