Pros

The people initially come across as warm and welcoming. The office environment and first impressions seem positive.

Cons

After the first week, I quickly began to see issues beneath the surface. As an admin team member, I felt like the role was viewed as “bottom of the barrel” rather than part of the wider team. Management interactions felt minimal and impersonal, often focused on the firm’s revenue rather than getting to know staff. The culture started to feel overly polished and performative, especially with an emphasis on curated LinkedIn posts rather than genuine engagement. From my experience, there appears to be little to no career development for anyone not training to become a lawyer. I saw long-serving non‑legal staff appearing stuck with no clear progression path, which was demotivating. Loyalty didn’t seem to be rewarded or recognised in the way you would hope.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased that your initial experience of the firm felt welcoming and positive, although we’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. We know that every role across the business plays an important part in the success of the firm, and we are committed to creating an environment where both legal and non-legal colleagues feel valued, supported and included. Career development across all areas of the business remains important to us. We have many colleagues in central support and non-legal roles who have progressed their careers with the firm over a number of years, supported by structured progression frameworks, promotion pathways, mentoring opportunities and ongoing development initiatives. We appreciate that perceptions of culture and management can vary from person to person, but feedback like this is still valuable for reflection and continuous improvement. We remain focused on creating a supportive workplace where people feel recognised for their contribution and able to build long-term careers with us. We wish you all the best for the future. Pros

Clarion is a welcoming, positive, and supportive business to work for. I feel listened to, respected, and they have helped not only my personal development (within my first full time role), but also career progression as a junior employee. Both direct management and my team are a pleasure to work with, and are always willing to support and collaborate as a team when required. I also find that additional opportunities outside of the working day (such as volunteering opportunities, and Being groups) highlight Clarion's commitment to keeping the company culture so positive, and encouraging cross team collaboration.

Cons

I have no cons to address.
