Pros

Supportive and collaborative teams who are approachable and genuinely good to work with. A culture of openness, with people receptive to feedback and new ideas. Strong sense of ownership across departments, with employees invested in improving the business. Clear commercial momentum and enthusiasm about future growth. Opportunities to contribute meaningfully and have your work make a visible impact.

Cons

Career progression pathways within Business Intelligence are currently less defined compared to revenue generating functions such as Sales. Greater clarity around technical growth opportunities would be valuable. The BI team manages a significant workload, which can limit time available for architectural optimisation for example structured Dev/Test/Prod environments and scalable workspace design. As a highly sales focused organisation, varying levels of technical literacy among stakeholders can make implementation of best-practice reporting solutions more challenging.
