Pros
Good benefits and nice people. It was a very flexable work environment and generally I was always treated well.
Cons
I worked in the back offices at citizens and was generally very dissatisfied with the position. In my oppinion the entire organization has to many chiefs and not enough indians. We had a round of lay-offs and only the people at the bottom were let go, which would be typically expected, most of the managers at the bank serve no real purpose. The biggest differece between the branches and the back offices are that good managers can't get rid of bad employees in the back offices, As a result bad employees just stay there, collecting a salary and not really caring about what is happening, while good employees get fed up with the BS and leave. I left first because my boss anounced that "Advancement and opportunities in the department would now be determined by merit" what was it done by before? I was also told that I needed to "pretend" to do less work as I was upsetting my co-workers.
