Pros

Citizens has been an incredible place to start and grow my career. Over the past five years, I’ve had countless opportunities to grow both professionally and personally thanks to their strong investment in its colleagues through well-designed programs, resources, and development initiatives. From getting exposure to senior leadership and volunteering to better our community, to working on projects that make a real impact for our colleagues, candidates and customers - Citizens truly invests in its people. I've also had the opportunity to experience mentorship from both sides, learning from colleagues who are more tenured and experienced, while also mentoring early career professionals as they begin their journey. The culture here is one of collaboration, support, and authenticity. My team is amazing, and my manager is genuinely committed to our growth and success. The people across the organization are what make Citizens special - they’re passionate, kind, and driven, and they contribute to a positive workplace.

Cons

Honestly, very few. Like any large organization, there can be occasional challenges with navigating change or aligning across teams, but leadership is transparent and open to feedback.

Pros

The pros are the benefits, the pay could be higher for all that you learn and have to go through for ten weeks. They offer tuition assistance and opportunity for upskilling and advancing in such little time and the remote flexibility is great too

Cons

Management sucks and of course they have their favorites and then they have the people they target like myself. They micromanage bad and are quick to give you an occurrence for nothing. Their systems are so slow and then they blame you for being five ten minutes late logging in. They want you to tell them when you get up to breathe, go to the bathroom and they push for you to take calls and know boatloads of info after on 3 weeks of training. What they don’t know is that I will sue for any wrong doings or discrimination and I keep records of everything
