Pros

Decently funded with sufficient capital raised early

Cons

- Circles no longer possesses their competitive edge when they squandered the opportunity to press their advantage when Circles led the industry previously. There is also a general lack of acknowledgement from management that this is an issue - New senior leadership are mostly from traditional telco backgrounds who struggle to bring fresh, new ideas instead defaulting to their old school ways which isn't what Circles as a brand stands for - Internal culture is poor because there is no clear direction, there is always a sense of panic when numbers are not hitting targets creating a very reactive, tactical environment. Leadership tends to oversimplify and expect results rather than finding out how to best support - This tone from the top creates a poor working culture where literally everyone is either burnt out or looking for another job - Staffing is inadequate with most teams run by one person or supported by interns. For well staffed teams, the turnaround time is ridiculously slow - As a customer, the service is completely hopeless. The network quality is spotty, the app is slow and is a poor experience all round - Circles can no longer compete. Not on price, product, network quality, neither do they have the staff to right the ship. Rough days ahead
