Pros
Early success is achievable through hard work and results. A ten to fifteen year tenure is very possible for a new manager.
Cons
Results that achieved early success become unsustainable and crushing on work-life balance. Should be prepared to make a career change between ten and fifteen years. It will be beneficial for the individual and the company seems to want the same outcome. Corporate office struggles with diversity initiatives at the group office level. Appear to chase quotas on gender and minorities and unfortunately have high turnover.
