Pros

They often bring in groceries and snacks for everyone.

Cons

-The training is non-existent, and when you don't have the confidence or expertise to do something due to lack of training then they are not pleased. - Communication (at least for the team I was on) was horrendous, and if you require clarification then you are made to feel stupid. -Expectations are sky high, and compensation is comparatively lackluster

Pros

-You get to work with some of the top vendors and IT technology -They feed you lunch twice a week and usually have a cabinet of Costco snacks. -They pay mileage for driving TO and FROM work, as well as your internet bill, and gym

Cons

-All Management is very neoconservative and christian... We had to pray each week before our Team meeting. -Must ALWAYS wear a suit and tie. You'll be sweating in a full suit while you're installing a network rack at 6:00AM in an empty Dentist's office. -You will work evenings and weekends with compensation in the form of starbucks gift cards. -There's no diversity. It's all white men. Only two women have ever worked for the company and they are the directors' wives, administrative work. -High turnover means clients are unfairly overbilled, because its always hourly billing so clients are paying for the extra time it takes for buddy to learn his new job. -No company car, you will be using your own vehicle to visit clients. Need to reclassify your car insurance for business use.

Pros

Paid parking - sketchy lot located next to the mustard seed. Homeless everywhere Weds and Thursday lunch - a perk! Until you realized it's just a ploy to get you to stay in the office to work.

Cons

Site managers are just ego boosting to one up each other to feel superior. You must conform to their rules, their way of speaking, writing, dress wear. You will be overworked. Expect long drawn out meetings that lead to nowhere and have no purpose other then to make the site mangers feel like God. Preachy and very religious. Not a fun environment to be in, people are depressed, sad, angry. You will be judged constantly. No women are hired - apparently it's due to they're distracting and owner and managers look down on them as 2nd class. Almost no interaction with customers. Managers can be very confrontational towards them and act like they know everything and the customer should be kept in the dark. Expect to be lectured by owner and site manager when a task isn't performed to their standard. Health benefits are non-existent. 5-6am starts, 4pm finish. It's a pretty lonely life working here.
