Pros

I've never worked with a more passionate and hard working group of people. Each team is cross functional, which creates a collaborative environment. Everyone is working towards the same goal, which helps with smooth transitions and overall collaboration. This is the best team I've ever hard the pleasure of working with. CEO is passionate about company and mission as a whole, which feeds down to every team and IC. Lunch and Dinner every day, awesome benefits, unlimited PTO, Yoga and massages in the office, and great work/life balance. What more could you ask for?

Cons

Harder to connect with everyone as the company scales. It is a close group, but can be difficult to meet everyone with many more new hires each week.

Thanks for the feedback. Agree that it's hard to get to know everyone as the company scales, but hopefully we can continue to brainstorm events and such to bridge the gap. Keep the feedback coming! - Arthur / Recruiting

Pros

Unlike many places where AI is just a buzzword, Checkr is deeply investing in real applications that solve complex problems. We aren’t just talking about it; we’re shipping it. The commitment to AI enablement is tangible. We have access to the latest tools like Cursor and Bugbot, which significantly streamlines our workflows and keeps the focus on creative problem-solving rather than boilerplate. If you enjoy "hard" problems, this is the place. Dealing with data at scale here provides a level of complexity that keeps you sharp and constantly learning. The culture is easily one of the best I’ve experienced. You’re working with incredibly smart, grounded individuals who genuinely care about the mission and each other.

Cons

Like any company that has scaled rapidly over several years, we have our fair share of tech legacy. It can be a hurdle when trying to move at lightning speed. While the new leadership is focusing in cleaning up the architecture through targeted engineering investments, we aren't out of the woods yet. It requires patience and a "builder" mindset to help pave the new path.
