Pros
Good training and experience. If you're a college grad looking to get job experience, CRL will take you. Just don't stay too long. The necropsy and archive departments aren't terrible places to work.
Cons
Where to start... The well fare of the techs and quality data are not a priority. Working nights and weekends and major holidays are expected (and through lunches). In-Life technicians have a ridiculous amount of responsibility and can lose their job over practically nothing. All in all, the office is Disorganized and very disfunctional in almost every aspect. There's inadequate staff for the research projects, archaic data gathering systems, disgruntled/overworked employees at every turn.
