Pros
Started out great because it's Chanel and the allure of the brand is so beautiful. Couple times a year you have a opportunity to purchase Chanel accessories and clothing at a discount. Nice bonus potential and benefits.
Cons
Upper management plays favorites and majority are terrified. Most veteran employees feel that if a certain VP likes you then your job is secure. No annual reviews or performance sessions. Regional Managers are known to talk about employees to other counter managers and retail managers...specifically in regards to their performance and likability. Tend to retaliate against people who don't "fit in" versus trying to talk and coach. I've seen associates not act themselves because they were just scared of the person. Upper VP's will yell and humiliate Retail Managers and Key Account Managers in front of fellow peers or even Counter Associates.
