Pros

Being part of Cause Effect has contribute towards my learning and growth. I work closely with the founder and the general manager, they have given full support of time, heart and willingness to share their knowledge. They lead by example, and truly want your success and growth in your career. Their mentorship has been a constant source of encouragement, pushing me to embrace self-improvement and strive for excellence. I couldn't have asked for a better environment for a career, and I’m thankful for all the experiences and insights I’ve gained here.

Cons

Growth requires stepping out of your comfort zone, and that’s never easy. The steep learning curve has pushed me in ways I didn’t expect, but it’s also taught me that real progress comes from taking on those uncomfortable moments. While the road ahead may be tough, I’m ready to keep pushing forward because I know that’s where true growth happens.

Pros

Pantry stocked, team members are genuinely great to work with and make the environment more enjoyable.

Cons

The leadership style feels highly controlling and micromanaged. While they claim not to micromanage, employees are required to provide frequent work updates and maintain detailed reporting, sometimes as often as every 15 minutes, which creates unnecessary pressure and reduces trust. There is often a tendency to shift blame onto employees rather than addressing underlying issues within the organization. Expectations and standards are set very high, yet the company itself does not consistently demonstrate the same level of structure or standards it expects from its staff. Employees are often treated as though they require constant supervision, rather than being trusted as professionals. Staying back after working hours is frequently expected, and work-life balance is not genuinely respected. Additionally, there are concerns regarding workplace culture, including instances of discriminatory and racist behavior. The overall environment feels tense and quiet, with many team members appearing disengaged or unhappy. One thing to be aware of is that the organization operates multiple companies under different names. Before accepting an offer, take the time to research the company carefully and understand which entity you are applying to, as experiences, management styles, and work environments may differ across the group.

Pros

The company is very well organised, which makes it easy to learn and adapt quickly. Tasks are clear, and the system runs smoothly. The staff and management are generally kind and respectful. However, the work environment is very quiet almost like a library. If you’re used to a friendly or lively office, it might feel a little awkward at first. But overall, the structure and workflow are strong.

Cons

The company does not follow a proper warning process. Most companies give at least two warnings before any termination, but here, it can happen suddenly even for small issues or if you’re not a very direct person. There is also too much micromanagement. Your daily tasks are closely watched, and even small details must follow their way even if your method isn’t wrong. Open communication is practiced, but not always in a healthy way. Mistakes are often pointed out in front of others. While the intention might be to prevent others from repeating it, this can feel uncomfortable and embarrassing. A workplace should be a safe space, it’s okay to make mistakes and learn. Scolding should be done privately, and achievements should be celebrated openly.
