Pros

The idea of a fishing company producing content, products, and innovative services is cool. There's tons of products and if you fish a lot, you'll never run out of baits to throw and try out.

Cons

Leadership is young and poor. Strategically, they've had a history of investing in things that customers did not ask for. Not only that, there is no communication or transparency between people managers and their supervisors. Business decisions are made in silos and directors lack any accountability for their misuse of funds, time, and talent resources.

Catch Co. Response

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. At Catch Co. we pride ourselves in creating a culture that engages both anglers and non-anglers, so I’m happy you found our industry exciting and were able to stock up on some tackle from the freebie box! We are always striving to improve, and are passionate about taking feedback to heart. Last month we began posting a digest in the #general channel that provides an overview of performance, trends, and developments occurring across the business. The goal here is to better inform the company on what everyone is working on, how we are trending to our goals, and where opportunities exist to get involved. In the last year we have also developed a training module where we highlight effective communication practices for managers and their teams. We rely on feedback from our current and former team members in order to improve, so please don’t hesitate to send any additional thoughts to peopleteam@catchco.com. - Terilyn Eisenhauer (Sr. Manager, People & Culture)

Pros

Fun industry, used to be fun people

Cons

Where to start. Let's just say this company is a shell of its former self.
