      Leadership is poor and lacks accountability

      Pros

      The idea of a fishing company producing content, products, and innovative services is cool. There's tons of products and if you fish a lot, you'll never run out of baits to throw and try out.

      Cons

      Leadership is young and poor. Strategically, they've had a history of investing in things that customers did not ask for. Not only that, there is no communication or transparency between people managers and their supervisors. Business decisions are made in silos and directors lack any accountability for their misuse of funds, time, and talent resources.

At Catch Co. we pride ourselves in creating a culture that engages both anglers and non-anglers, so I’m happy you found our industry exciting and were able to stock up on some tackle from the freebie box! We are always striving to improve, and are passionate about taking feedback to heart. Last month we began posting a digest in the #general channel that provides an overview of performance, trends, and developments occurring across the business. The goal here is to better inform the company on what everyone is working on, how we are trending to our goals, and where opportunities exist to get involved. In the last year we have also developed a training module where we highlight effective communication practices for managers and their teams.       Don't be fooled by the #optimism

      Pros

      You get a snack box twice a year!

      Cons

      Company culture is awful. CEO has no backbone. People officers are fake and lie to your face. Design values cheap internship and freelance labor and has huge ego. Marketing is not very creative and is basically s.hitposting. Oh, they are also encouraging people to leave because the finances are terrible.

      fun culture great health benefits unlimited PTO taking a day off to fish is encouraged
