Pros

Free tea/coffee & car parking. An impressive looking building......but never judge a book by its cover!

Cons

During my time at the Bathgate Site there was a culture of Intimidation and bullying which came from the leadership at the site and spread across all departments. There is little collaboration or teamwork and has a strong blame culture. Unbelievably poor training, no structure and no plan to improve. The site is out of control. High amounts of overtime which creates a stressful working environment and puts people under pressure. The vast majority of the processes are extremely manual and time consuming and the technology is way behind the times. Little investment at the site in almost 20 years has put them way behind their competitors and at a huge disadvantage. Its a minimum wage employer and NOT an employer of choice - I would not recommend working here.

Pros

The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive, which has made it easy to learn and feel comfortable asking questions. There is a strong focus on training and collaboration, helping me feel safe, well prepared, and confident in my role. I also appreciate the benefits, which support a good work-life balance.

Cons

One area for improvement is the flexibility for new employees regarding remote work hours.

Pros

Good people and good training Good stepping stone for a pharma manufacturing career clean environment

Cons

Insanely underappreciative and borderline abusive upper management 3+ months mandatory overtime might as well tell your kids they are orphans, you will never be home power hungry micromanagers (spies on people who takes breaks) different pay for everyone cannot stress enough how bad the upper management is, so many people are leaving (even people who have been working for there 5+ years!) because of the lack of appreciation, micromanagement, and clear lack of respect for their workers. very disorganized
