Pros
- Some pay is much better than average and balance out some of the lower-paying articles. - The automotive content managers are awesome and very fair. - Steady flow of work. - Involve senior-level freelancers in any prospective changes to the system or formatting. - Great transparency for freelancers. - Open to suggestions from freelancers - Pay is like clockwork
Cons
- Some articles pay as little as 5 cents per word, but this is rare. - Occasional dry spells, particularly around holidays. - Some deadlines are very tight. - Bi-weekly pay can be annoying at times (would prefer weekly).
