Pros

Working with families who need support while caring for a loved one.

Cons

In the beginning you are part of a family, you are valued, your uniqueness is celebrated. In reality, they take advantage of who you are and the love you have for what you do. If you don't say yes, then say nothing. It turned into a petty, competitive, out of balance, inauthentic work environment that created a toxic company culture.

Pros

Deeply Mission-Driven: Every aspect of Cariloop’s culture centers on supporting caregivers and their families. The work feels meaningful, and leadership consistently reinforces our “why.” Supportive Leadership: From my direct manager to executive leadership, I feel seen and heard. They’re not only accessible but also responsive to feedback and open to evolving. People-First Environment: Colleagues are empathetic, team-oriented, and genuinely care about each other’s well-being. The culture is highly collaborative, and compassion shows up in everything we do. Work-Life Balance: The company supports healthy boundaries, encouraging time away and creating space for flexibility. Innovation-Focused: There’s a growing embrace of technology and process improvements, especially around tools to help us serve caregivers more efficiently.

Cons

Scaling Pains: As the company evolves, we’ve felt some of the typical growing pains, adjusting roles to better suit our organization's needs, building on the ways we deliver our services, and learning how to communicate across expanding teams. However, leadership is proactive in addressing this.

Pros

Good mission to help relieve the stress and anxiety felt by all caregivers. They believe that no one should go through caregiving alone and strive to build a world where caregiving is fully supported, recognized, and sustained in the workplace.

Cons

Unfortunately, they don't practice what they preach for their own employees.
