Pros
great growth opportunities It is very challenging which promotes a steeper learning curve. You will be promoted and/or moved around within the company if you'd like. You will be given a lot responsibilities from the beginning, again great growth. Privately owned company, so very stable during rough economy times.
Cons
Cargill does not pay their engineers! You will not be compensated nearly what the industry pays. They love to 'recognize" you but do not pay for your value. Even though it is private, it still has the big corporate BS games. This location has no diversity, this is primary due to location but when diversity is present they leave quickly. They advertise work-life balance but if you want to be on a good level and seen as a good employee you need to spend 10 hours a day. It gets political.
