Pros

The location is strategic, able to reach by LRT. Decent salary and benefits, hybrid working.

Cons

- Transformation that nevers stop, happens 2-3x times per year with no direction. Employees voice/feedback are not taken into consideration. Its just what management wants you must do. - No grip about what you are doing due to frequent transformation. - Office politics are strong, with team members talking behind your back / trying to push around with jobs. The relationship only seems “peaceful” and good infront of bosses. In actual its all stressful, and team members are not even nice or helpful, - System are out of place. It’s 2026, but everything is still manual and by paper. It’s not expected for a big co like Cargill. - The management only starts worrying and listening when things goes wrong and risking the business, else they won’t even bother about your feedback. - Things have changed, everything is falling apart, and turnover is high. Whole team is new & inexperienced. Therefore, mistakes are common. - Unreasonable workload , but management still thinks you are very free. - Line manager are basically non existent, not capable and doesn’t even know what they’re doing. Can’t support when there issue. - Everyday is unpredictable, you will get pushed with other people job you can’t reject, saying it was for “help” or “support”. Therefore you can’t manage your workload. - Complex and long working processes due to no system in place.

Pros

Pay is good, especially on holidays! you get days off during the week and you work every other weekend

Cons

The schedule is hard, 12 hour days for 1 month then 12 hour nights then switch back. the environment is tough, the work load is heavy. not always the support you need to help you. favoritism, Management can be difficult, sink or swim type of culture, The testing is nearly impossible to get through. In the end you can do a great job in learning the job, if they don't want you, you will be replaced!
