Pros

Coworkers mostly have some semblance of solidarity in tiny factions spread throughout the corporate office. Many people are good at what they do which leaves one wondering why they're still there. Some of the most competent people who are still economically viable are able to leave if they don't stay too long. If you're in one of the many departments with poor accountability, you're able to excel simply by being there. You can sit back and relax knowing that you'll never get fired.

Cons

Poor management across the board in my whole department. No communication on a cohesive direction. Whenever staff leaves, management tries to fill the gap by pushing the work on other subordinates with little-to-no reward. Mediocre employees that are favorites are promoted every year. New managers fail to understand who their employees are or what their actual responsibilities entail. It is not wise to remain employed here unless your standards have appropriately been lowered to match the overall mediocrity ingrained in the corporate culture. This place will destroy your career and you will be stuck here . You won't want to leave because of the health benefits and the steady paycheck. You will wake up one day and realize that you're no longer qualified to do your own job because you've spent so long doing other people's jobs in order to get anything done.
