Pros

Steadily ran department for the nature of the industry. Decent work/life balance, usually kept to about 40-45 hour weeks. Company open to transferring departments, if desired.

Cons

Supervisors and hourly workers seem to often go unrecognized/underappreciated by upper management outside of words in passing. No bonus opportunities, no shift differentials. Pay can fall behind working-class needs.

Pros

You don't have to do anything. at all. This is a great job if you want to balance 2 jobs at once.

Cons

Nepotism driving all decisions, if you didn't come from Royal Caribbean, don't expect to make decisions. Ive never worked anywhere that management had no leadership skills, and no technical knowledge, which leads to absolute disaster of decision making. Decisions are made by consensus of yes men, while anyone who disagrees is sidelined.
