"Seasonal" Work - Anonymous employee Cabela's Employee Review

When I was originally hired I was told it would be FULL-TIME, LONG-TERM WORK. Once I actually started training however I came to find that I was being designated under "seasonal" status. Actually, almost everyone is hired this way. What this means is you are garunteed NO HOURS and you get NO BENIFITS. You remain seasonal for atleast 6 months. I actually went in after working for three months at 40 hours a week to find I wasn't even on the schedule. On the bright side, I'm being transfered to another department to get hours.
